Acacia saligna Labill, also known as coojong, the blue-leafed wattle, golden wreath orange Western Australian and Port Jackson willow in place of Africa, is a little tree Fabaceae family. It widely dispersed over Australia's south-west region, reaching Murchison River north, Israelite Bay east. indigenous to Australia. The most prevalent phenolic substances this plant are benzoic acid, o-coumaric caffeine, p-hydroxy acid ellagic while identified flavonoid compounds were naringenin, quercetin, kaempferol. Due its ability develop into woody shrub or variety soil types, it useful for many different things. In addition being utilized an ornamental plant, has been used tanners, reforestation, animal feed, mine site rehabilitation, firewood, mulch, agroforestry. selected pharmacological activity includes antioxidant, antibacterial, antifungal, anti-ulcerative colitis, anticancer, cytotoxic anti-hyperglycaemic etc.
